Please Note: Do not try this on a wireless connection or on a network or computer with a strong firewall.
-Click Start, Run, type in cmd and press enter.
-Type ipconfig/release and press enter.
-Type exit and leave the command prompt.
-Find “Network Connections” or “My Network Places” on your computer by going to Start, Run, and then clicking on Control Panel.
-Once you have opened the window, right click the icon “Local Area Connections” and click on Properties.
-On the general tab, double click on “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).”
-Click on “Use the following IP address.”
-Create an IP address from a sequence of 1's and 2's.
-Press Tab. Hit OK twice.
-Go back to the “Local Area Connections” page and then click properties again.
-Go to “TCP/IP” settings.
-Select “Obtain an IP address automatically.”
-Hit OK twice.
-You should now have a new IP address!
-If you are still having problems, connecting to the internet, repair your internet connection.
